Gardener role overview

People HQ is recruiting an experienced and reliable Gardener to care for the landscaped grounds of a large private estate in Ballybofey, County Donegal.

The role

You will maintain the estate grounds throughout the year, carrying out routine and seasonal gardening work to keep the gardens, lawns and outdoor areas healthy, tidy and well presented.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, grassed areas, edges and turf.
• Trim hedges and prune trees, shrubs and plants.
• Plant and care for flowers, borders and beds.
• Maintain paths, driveways and outdoor areas.
• Manage weeds, keep the grounds tidy and use tools and equipment safely.
• Identify plant health issues and contribute to seasonal gardening plans.

About you

• Previous gardening, grounds or landscaping experience.
• Good knowledge of plants and seasonal care.
• Reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• A full driving licence is preferred.
